Meet the Creator

I have been creating all my life, first with innovative games to inspire my children, then creative thinking to advance my career. When I started making candles, it was solely for my pleasure as I not only wanted to reimagine my life; I needed to. In times of transition, you often seek things that will bring peace to chaos or balance to a wave. Making candles did that for me. I can recall feeling highly anxious about a work situation and desperately needed something to instill calmness. I lit one of my candles and took a few moments to inhale the aroma and absorb the ambiance it brought to my office. I was ready for the challenges of the day and did it with peace and grace. Many of my friends asked me to make candles for them and encouraged me to share my craft with you.

As a mother you spend years devoted to exposing your children to things to sparks their interest or not, LOL. I’m sure I’m not the only one that have dropped cash on violin lessons, dance, gymnastics, etc. But then the day comes when you get to shift your focus to yourself and reflect on your journey. I began to embrace nature more by taking hikes and waterfall tours. I traveled with friends around our country and others. While briefly living in New York, I started beading projects. Yes, I know, who spends time beading in New York when you are in New York? Sometimes the constant noise was overbearing when you come from a small town. Did I mentioned I lived in an apartment in Time Square? During the pandemic I pick up a crochet needle and made blankets and hats for friends and family. Also, during the pandemic, I wrote a book that is currently being edited with hopes to publish one day. By now you can tell the theme of my journey really is discovery and through those experiences it has provided me with many tranquil solutions that I hope to pass on to you through my products.
